Yea but their flight hours aren't a significant amount. Depending on the platform.
Usually its on a quarterly basis to maintain quals.

I can understand the "waste of money" argument to a certain extent. But there's a spark ignited in a lot of people by watching these sorts of things that's difficult to quantify.

I don't know whether it's BS or not, but the Navy said the Blue Angels had to fly the hours anyway, so NYC didn't cost them anything extra. I don't know if the USAF said anything about this.
I have no info on this, but I would guess the aerobatics guys need more flight hours than does everybody else does...

A guy buys one of the NEW Electric Ford Mustangs.He has the car for about a month when he's rear-ended, not his fault. The Ford dealer saying the replacement parts won't be in until after CHRISTMAS! Not much the guy can do other than try to shame Ford into releasing the parts for his repair.

I came across this YouTuber (he's a history professor by trade) that goes into the historical aspects in movies. I started off with his 10 part series of Band of Brothers. He has others like Gettysburg (next for me) and The Longest Day, Well worth the time...
