Growing up in Catonsville and going to a couple games this year, this made me really happy. The games I saw, I think Lane ran for at least over 200 yards each one. He can definitely run and I hope that Edsall uses him well. They added two more players over the weekend as well:
Mike Williams, 3-star DE out of DC
DeAndre Lane, ATH out of Catonsville (Rivals doesn't have him ranked)

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Stoner, I think it's time for a new blog post running down these new recruits!
There are sites far better than me that can provide real recruiting analysis and information. Inside MD Sports, Testudo Times, etc.
I have been pursuing Q&A's with some recruiting analysts, but it is a slow go. I'll try again this week, and try and get something up before my trip.
Regarding Lane, I went to Catonsville.... followed them a bit last year, as they were having their best football season ever. Certainly recall Lane putting up some huge games.

Big weekend for the Terps. Obviously they seem to have a great relationship beginning to grow with FCA. Kudos to Edsall and Locksley - now keep it up!
I also went to Catonsville. DBean and I went to a game last year and watched this kid run roughshod on the field. Absolute beast.
Anyone know why Rivals doesn't have him ranked? Lack of exposure? Or is it more that they don't think he's going to amount to anything in college?
I would think being a record setting running back on a team that made the State Semifinals would have to count for something.....

FWIW, Isaacs is a 4-star TE according to Rivals. Originally he committed to BC late last year and has now switched his commitment to the Terps.
According to a Scout guy, the flip is academics-related:
Whatever the reason, I'm glad to have him coming to College Park. They need a TE - they've got 3 seniors leaving after this year.TE Andrew Isaacs said his flip from #BC to #Maryland was purely academics because BC didn't have his intended major of broadcasting
