Any interest in Vasquez?

Vasquez sat out last year, is interested in coming back for '13. Will pitch for Puerto Rico in the WBC.

Not on a guaranteed deal.

Has struggled moreso in the AL, which is funny because his game should translate well anywhere.

Maybe the NY pressure just gets to him?

I was going to say, the O's are still in the AL East, and are hoping to contend - so those are two negatives against Vasquez. ;) But like you said, on a non-guaranteed, MiL deal or something, I'd be OK with it. See if there's anything left.

Duquette has no problem signing players to minor league deals. Maybe just invite him to spring training. One possible issue, is somebody will offer him a 1 year deal.

Per @tavonsky, Javier Vazquez sitting at 93 mph, topping out at 95, for @CriollosCaguas. 6 shutout IP, 4K, 0BB, 3H (all singles).
