No surprise on Pickett. Assuming a healthy Wes Brown, he's 3rd at best, maybe 4th on the RB depth-chart. A little more surprised by Dorleant....he played in every game this season, although he probably wouldn't have started in the secondary next year.

I don't see this as a big thing unless, this is the tip of the ice berg and more guys leave. There can not be another mass exodus.

Don't read into this too far, this is not because of Edsall because Edsall really like Picket. That was about a family matter, and this time it is legitimate. As for the other guy, I assume it is because he wasn't seeing time any time soon. Most of these guys actually like Edsall, so don't expect a ton to leave. This type of stuff is normal.

As mentioned, Dorleant did appear in every game this season. But with McDougle and Johnson returning as starters next season and Goins entrenched as the 3rd CB, he probably wanted a shot at starting. And since he's going to an FCS school, he'll be eligible next fall.

Dorleant wouldn't be getting any playing time in the near future. As stated, McDougle, Johnson, and Goins will be the starters next season. After that, we've got a few guys available including Jarrett Ross and Alvin Hill.
