It is way to early to talk MVP, and Carmelo has shown flashes of being a total (offense and Defense) before but reverted back before. It will be interesting to see how he responds when Amare Stoudamire returns. To date, they have been like oil and water.
The Knicks as a whole seem better but I still do not see them as the contender the NY hype media seem to want to make them.
