I would be shocked of he isn’t on the Ravens!

He's a big reason the team and offense has been as good as it's been since he's been here, and he's still playing at a very high level. He probably wouldn't be my first option once the playoffs roll around, though.

I don't see why not. One game shouldn't define who he's been in his career.

You better have Lamar on board if you move him though.

That's make two of us. I seriously can't even believe this is a question. Do they really save that much cap space if he's traded? I haven't really looked.

It looks like they'd clear $16.9M in cap space. I'm probably the least informed fan, when it comes to that stuff. So I don't know if that's significant enough to move him.

Restructuring Humphrey was a pretty big sign to me that Andrews is staying
Yeah you don’t have to do that if you’re trading Andrews. Btw for weird o he would gain 11M, with 5.9M dead money if cut or traded. Not worth to cut imo, maybe worth it depending what you get if you think likely/Kolar can do what he does. But I’m fine keeping.

Andrews had the worst moments of his career at the worst possible time. Luckily EDC can separate emotion from business. Andrews is still one of the best TE's in football. Down the stretch, he was a massive reason for why the offense was a powerhouse. He had 3 total drops all season, including the playoffs. And 1 fumble in the same time period. Unfortunately, 1 of the 3 drops, and the 1 fumble came in back to back drives during the biggest moments of the season.
He still gets open with regularity, he still makes contested catches as good as any TE. He is a monster in the redzone for Lamar. He's worth the money. And honestly, I want to give him his chance at redemption for Baltimore. That man is going to have a massive chip on his shoulder all season. I get the argument for cap space, and Likely and Kolar being more than ready for bigger roles. But Andrews has a couple of really good years left. You're in your window still. You can all but run back the same team next season.

Keeping him through the bonus basically eliminates a trade. They're cap-strapped, so if they were gonna trade him they'd have done it before paying the bonus and taking that $4M against the cap (and in real cash, too, from Bisciotti's perspective).

They will shop him and if he could fetch a 2nd or 3rd then he's gone. I don't see it though.
He will play out his contract and then move on so they can retain Likely next season.

See if Cleveland will take him for 33 and 36, take Mike Green and Will Johnson, and completely revamp the defense.
Damn, that would be sweet. But I'd actually feel sorry for Andrews being sent to that purgatory.

Or they just take Mike Green.
