ESPN: Way-Too-Early College Football Top 25 Rankings
As the title suggests, it's way too early. I'm not inclined to put OSU back on top without a clear QB1, but I'm sure they'll buy one in the portal, and probably be the preseason #1.

Chip Kelly has left Ohio State to take the OC job with the LV Raiders. That's now both coordinators the Buckeyes have lost this offseason. I'm kinda getting some post-2019 LSU vibes for them right now.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Dumb move on Iamaleava’s part. Wherever he ends up he’ll be lucky to get what Tennessee was giving him, much less the more he was asking for. ESPN reported his people reached out to Oregon, and the Ducks said no thanks. The NIL collectives pretty much have their QB budgets set, and the House settlement revenue sharing isn’t a go yet.
My guess is he lands at USC. They might be the only ones desperate enough to try and come up with the money for him while also disrupting the QB room in the middle of spring practices. Plus he is a SoCal kid and USC is trying to recruit their backyard much harder than they recently have.

Lee Corso is retiring after 38 years on College GameDay. His final show will be on August 30th.
He'd obviously had his on-screen time more limited the last few seasons, but man college football won't be the same without him kicking off the Noon slate of games from the inside of a mascot head. What a legendary career.

After he held out of spring practices citing a desire for more money, Tennessee has announced they’ll be moving on from QB Nico Iamaleava.
Looks like he'll be headed to UCLA. For the Maryland fans, they'll likely see him when they travel to Pasadena in mid-October.
Joey Aguilar had transferred there from Appalachian State in December, he could very well be back on the move before the spring window closes on Friday.

As expected, Aguilar is back in the transfer portal.
And the exchange has come full circle, as Aguilar has committed to Tennessee. Not entirely sure how well he'll fit in Heupel's offense given his skill-set, but will be interesting to see how it pans out for both players.
