He's had some massive drops before Sunday.
I have no problem moving on from him if it allows us to make moves elsewhere.

Good problem to have having 2 very good TEs. Andrews isn't Cundiff or Lee Evans. As upset as fans are, they'll forgive him by next season.

Likely was a 72.3 overall and a 73.2 receiving. Still very good, maybe he does even better in a full time capacity.

He's in the class of Evans and Cundiff unfortunately.
Evans had the ball knocked away. Andrews dropped a wide open pass that hit him in the stomach.

Ozzie traded Boldin over 2M after being a huge part of a SB run, so there's no guarantees.
A week ago I would have said no way. Now, I say maybe, whatever the FO wants to do is fine with me, 11M can do a lot.

Andrews track record keeps him out of the Evans/Cundiff territory. It'll be tough going to him in critical situations, though. He's obviously still a top tier TE. After taking a couple of days to unwind, I think it'd be dumb to not bring him back.
It's gonna be hard to shake that game. We always say it's never one player's fault but that was as bad as it can get for anybody other than a qb or kicker. Unfortunately there arw heroes and there are goats and Andrews picked the worst time to have the worst game of his career. At this point he still hasn't talked to the public. There's really nothing he can say that will make anyone feel better.

I honestly do feel bad for him. He's had a solid career and is still one of the best tight ends in football but I'm afraid that game and that ending is what people are going to associate with him. There's certainly greater tragedies in this Country but in the unforgiving world of fandom, that's about as bad as it gets.

I don't remember Huntley catching much crap for his end zone dive fumble and return TD that essentially cost us the wildcard game against Cincinnati in 2022. Huntley came back to his backup role in 23. Maybe fans weren't as mad because they didn't expect to go very far with Huntley as QB anyways.

They brought back Cundiff after 2011 and had Tucker to compete with him in training camp in 2012.
They aren't going to drop Andrews, still a top 5 TE, after that disastrous game.

Bills Mafia has raised some $41,000 for Mark Andrews' charity. Pretty cool thing to do.

He has had some big drops at the worst times. He's also a top 3 TE when healthy as well. His 11 TD's weren't all walk-ins or wide open catches. He's phenomenal at winning up top. The TD against Philly was a ridiculous grab. I'm not happy. He clearly gets in his own head in big moments. Like I said previously, he's still a weapon. Use him to get you to the big moments. When you get there, depend on someone else.
If they cut him for the cap space, I won't like the move. He's super productive. He showed he still had some juice after he fully recovered from the accident early in the season. I won't hate it either. It'd make sense. Likely can be a stud TE as well. I don't think he's the blocker Andews is though. But he's got a lot more juice as a reciever. Although he can get the dropsies as well. And I think Kolar can be a good TE given the opportunity.
If they cut Andrews, and the money is used to bring in a good CB, Edge, Safety ect, then it is what it is.
