I am so over Billy Edwards. Frankly, I'm over MD athletics right now. The whole athletic program feels like it's at a low ebb right now.

It still blows my mind that there were *multiple* folks on this board who insisted that Edwards is a better QB than the Big Ten’s all-time leading passer. The guy is not good. Like, at all.

Maryland loses, 31-17. This is the first time they've lost to Rutgers since 2020.

 

Next game comes against Iowa next weekend in College Park. The Hawkeyes are 6-4 on the year, and will be coming off of a bye week.

 

In more positive news, 2025 4-star QB commit Malik Washington led Archbishop Spalding High School to their third straight MIAA Championship tonight.
