Yes, but what they want and what they'll get are two different things.Not a chance. They want profar, olt and perez plus from tex...no chance they take less with schoop and delmonico. They have been listening for months...nothing has changed but they want an extreme overpay to do it.

Yes, but what they want and what they'll get are two different things.
Much like Upton, no it's not. They don't have to deal him, they don't even care to, they are doing it to shut him up. They have plenty of time to hold on to him, sell tickets and deal him when they want to, so they will hold out for a mega-package and they will get it.
Look at NYM and Dickey, I said the same thing there and laid out what they were asking for, and they held on to him until they got what they wanted. While most people will say it was a good risk by TOR, they will also admit that giving up D'arnaud and Snydergaard was a lot for Dickey. Stanton has WAY more value than Dickey, and in terms of the top 2 prospects in a package, D'arnaud and Snydergaard is a better 2 than a lot of teams even HAVE to give up in a Stanton package.
TEX and AZ have been talking about Upton again, and the smart money says (and a couple people around the league suspect) that Daniels started half way serious trade talks with FLA to get it out in the media that they could possibly be in on Stanton, reducing AZ's leverage for in a deal. Absolutely Daniels' style.

Yes, but the difference is scouts aren't going to try to predict actual numbers for a player, that's media and fan message board fodder. He is a great player, but he was SO overhyped here he was NEVER going to live up to that.
