I really hope Cowser turns into a legit starter because he's the fan favorite personality that this team needs with Rutschman, Gunnar, Westburg all a bit of the reserved type.
He has a .760 OPS in his first full season. I think he'll be fine.

His range/glove/arm are without question first rate at all three OF positions. I want to see his OPS tick up to .775 going forward this season.

Even before tonight he had a 112 wRC+. Offense is down overall.

Twenty-two games over five hundred after tonight. Even if the Orioles play just .500 ball the rest of the year, that's 92 wins and almost certainly good enough for a playoff berth.

Not to be pedantic...

Yeah no way Akin should get the W. Shouldn't be able to come in and blow the hold then get the win.
Yeah, if MLB wants to make another rule change... give the official scorer the option to deviate from the standard "Win/Loss" decision as appropriate. I know there's a slight difference between "guy leaves in the 6th with a 7-6 lead and the starter really didn't pitch all that great." and this game.. but just hope common sense has an avenue to prevail at times.
