Also, Coulombe to the IL with elbow inflammation, and Baker is up.

Ugh anyone but Baker

Lol, Palmer.

I can't decide which was funnier, Palmer's zinger or Kevin Brown's painfully uncomfortable chuckle afterward.

Don't worry, Kevin, I think the new boss can accept the fact that it wasn't long ago the team stunk to the high heavens...although if you decide to call out the ugly teal patches with the horny sheep on them, all bets are off.

Tate is so infuriating.

Stuff looks back to dominant but also sucks with inherited runners.

He has stranded 6 of 9, so very small sample size and that includes a seeing eye groundball against the Blue Jays.

Good win and we catch the Braves rolling a little low right now.

A week ago, the Braves had gone 182 games without being shutout.  Then Boston shut them out and now the Orioles a week later.

Baseball.

Real good win, especially since the Braves got into Baltimore Sunday and had an off day, while the Orioles got in about 3 AM.

Suarez beats Fried and Gunnar got a day off.  Hell of a job.

The Orioles are mentally tough.

This team is special just like the last 2 years. Now all we need is for management to finally believe in them and do what's necessary.

Waiting 2035 to pull a Slide whenever Suarez has a bad game.

And yeah, nasty Cano is back.

I have no feelings about Suarez. I bet against him one night when TB was crushing him for 3 innings. Even if he falls off a cliff hes already been a big W for the year. Cowser is the one whos in danger of getting it from me. Ive mostly been letting it be but he's been horrible outside of 3 weeks in April. His June to this point has been worse than his May. Dont want to keep hearing about his bad luck. You dont go 6 or 7 weeks with a .550 OPS and have it all be bad luck.

You're a savant guy. Cowser's savant profile is filled with red.

Certainly not all bad luck but would suck for him if he got “hot” (seeing the ball well, hitting it hard) and nothing to show for it.

I have to admit I wasn't feeling too confident about last night's pitching match-up but what can you say about Suarez so far?  The guy has pitched great and has given them quality starts whenever he's out there.  Maybe the league will eventually catch up to him but like Irvin, he seems to pitch well as a starter.  I was wrong about predicting this team was going to have to score a ton of runs this year to make up for pitching weaknesses.  They've been amazing and definitely have surprised me.  Especially the bullpen.
