I really hope Gunner goes to the NL in 2029.  It's going to kill me if I have to watch him playing for the Yankees.

I will take the positive approach,  Gunnar will be one of two players the Orioles extend within the next 18 months.

If he leaves, he leaves... but I don't think it's a forgone conclusion at all that he will.

I think it's a foregone conclusion that he tests free agency (unless he changes agents). The O's resigning him as a FA seems plausible to me with new ownership.

Last year's team would have immediately forgotten about Oakland and then gone out and won 3 of 4 from the Yankees.  Let's see how resilient this year's team is.

 

Pretty resilient, as it turns out.
