Hyde hoping to win this in regulation, because won't be much left behind Cano in the 8th and Kimbrel in the 9th

Seems like the ideal manager would be in between Hyde and Buck.

Hyde can't see past one or two batters. Focus is way to short term.

Then Buck was long term focused to a fault.

Ramirez pitches the 10th if it gets there.

Holliday homers in the bottom of the 8th to win it.

If we don't score in the 8th then I am not pitching Kimbrel in the 9th. I want his K potential in the 10th.

Cano's invisiball working today but the walk means too many pitches to hope for a second inning from him.  Lets just get some runs and hand it over to Kimbrel.

Thats a fair debate but its not how it will go.

Damn Holliday is struggling enough as it is you don't need to call that a strike. Now you're making him chase bad pitches.

Guys he’s gotta go back down. I’ve never seen someone play this poorly

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I like this idea.  Maybe use Cano for one more out in this case.  Pitch count too high for the whole inning most likely.

He's got almost no chance. It's a chore making contact.

See another pitch there where how do you swing through that. Shocked no contact is made. Hes overwhelmed. Like I know Ive advocated for giving him real time but he is overwehelmed. Hes got like a week to show something at this point. Complete dead spot right now

Adley having a rough start as well. AVG is OK, but not walking and no power.
