Hopefully that run doesn't hurt, but sheer stupidity erased one off the board.

That was really bad. Whether that is on the 3B coach or Mullins, just really bad there. Way too many unforced errors early on.

Funny about this game...

Several on here thought the O's offensive woes would continue against this Red Sox pitching staff.

They are finally starting to be selective

The only thing to complain about today is the baserunning. Cost us at least 2 runs.

Which has been their hallmark overall.

Such a pleasure to finally see some clutch hits with RISP.

Two hits for Gunnar, Adley, Cowser, and Mullins. O'Hearn was on base 3 times. Hopefully the bats are waking up a bit. This team is definitely lacking a slugger or two, though. Gunnar, Mountcastle, and Santander are really the only power threats currently.

I don't usually read message boards of other teams, but many Red Sox fans are absolutely insufferable.

Gunnar is just a lost puppy right now.  He's right back where he started last year.

Okay, I know this is the game thread, but this is over the top

This is obvious but Gunnar starting much better than last year. Only striking out 18.6%, hitting the ball hard consistently.

It’s almost as if people are overreacting to a ridiculously small sample size.

Loved the lefty/righty trickery with Kemp and Mateo as if it actually mattered.  Right handed pitcher came in, Kemp stayed in and was promptly out after one or two pitches.
