From up 16 to down 4 at home on Senior Day. Pretty much sums up the season. Looking forward to watching good teams in a couple weeks and putting this one behind us.

Feels like we’ve seen this movie many times this season. Get out to a big lead, blow it, mount a late comeback, fall just short. Rinse and repeat.

Young and Scott are gone. Reese is a very likely candidate to leave. DHS and Kaiser have shown little to no improvement as the year has gone on, especially Kaiser. The only guard incoming is unlikely to be a factor. The one decent guard it looked like could be a lock from the portal probably isn't likely anymore.

That line was a money giveaway. We shall see what effect on Willard's offense the new players will bring, but based on Willards past, I expect it will be the same. He needs to get in a high-level AC who can run a faster paced offense and knows how to have the bigs set up around the paint, especially when they can't shoot. He can teach his D, but Willard needs a lot of offensive help.
2 more losses and on to season 3 of Willard ball.

For a power 5 recruit, Kaiser has not impressed at all. Terps have a long way to go for next year with the portal appearing to be their only salvation. I just don't think DHS, Kaiser, Lamothe & company can improve enough to be competitive. Hopefully, they can pick up at least 2 impact players from the portal.
