Losers of five of their last six games, Maryland heads back on the road to face off against Rutgers on Sunday afternoon. When these teams met in College Park a few weeks ago, the Scarlet Knights came away with a three-point victory. Steve Pikiell's team has won four of their last six games, but has dropped two in a row to Minnesota and Purdue. They currently hold a record of 14-12 (6-9).

Since joining the Big Ten, Maryland is 5-2 against Rutgers in Piscataway.

Rutgers enters this game as 2.5-point favorites. ESPN gives them a 54.7% chance to win.

UMD couldn't beat them at home, so I don't see them winning on the road, Rutgers -2.5.  Still, would be really nice to see DHS and Kaiser make some shots and score! I hope Traore can start and is healthy, he is better than Jordan (but the bar is low).

When the Terps make a 3, it feels like a 75 yard TD. Nice little stretch there. 

 

I've bashed the living hell out of this team, but one thing I continue to respect is the effort given the obvious end result here.

There were a handful of games earlier this year where the effort was definitely lacking. Hasn’t been the case for awhile now, so definitely agree. They’ve continued to fight, which is admirable.

What's crazy is that MD is 14-13,6-10...  and if they win today, their last 3 games are NW, Indiana, and at Penn State. 

They're favored to win each of them.

Held them to 18 first half points at home, and hit some nice 3's... good half of basketball. I was entertained.
