It's funny that in the smaller sports MD has some GREAT coaches scattered. Tillman, Sasha for Men's Soccer, Swope for BB looks like a great hire, Brenda on the WBB side etc.

Terps leading Virginia 4-1 early. Notre Dame cruised to the championship game earlier today. Happy Memorial Day weekend. One of my favorite MDW traditions.

In addition to Cathy Reese (Women’s Lacrosse), you can’t forget Missy Meharg (Field Hockey). 7 National Championships and 27 Conference Titles.

They’ve started the 2nd half the same way they started the 1st, great sign. Expected adjustments from UVA but Terps are completely controlling the face off and thus the game. Hope they keep it going. Virginia is super talented.

Notre Dame beat up Denver 13-6. 

MD up 9-4 in the 3rd.

 

All of the previews talked about MD's defense being elite all year, and the issue being scoring. 
You'd think they would be able to make this hold up.

Maryland going to win this one rather handily. Terps will be playing in the title game for the third time in the last four years.

MD lost 14-9 at ND in March.

This team was a shell (pun intended) of itself a month ago and hit bottom when PSU smacked them around in the Big Ten tourney. Kudos to Tillman for righting the ship. The D has been lights out again and will need to be on Monday.

The biggest thing going for the Terps right now is Luke Weirman. He has been a force at the faceoff,can not stress how huge it is to get so many extra possessions. Want to slow down the Irish don't let them get the ball.

ND will be the favorite and rightfully so but Maryland has a great chance to get the W

The only thing Debbie Yow ever got right was hiring coaches for the non-revenue sports.
