It doesn't feel as sweet, no doubt, but Washington wins the rematch against Michigan 27-17.

Very interested to see what the Top 10 looks like tomorrow. After Texas at #1 and Ohio St at #2, I have no idea what to expect.

There are 12 unbeaten teams left, including Miami who are down 21-10 at the half. Only one of those unbeatens is in the SEC (Texas).

Miami won another game they seemingly had no business winning with a huge comeback. And the refs did them a solid once again with a crucial no-call on what easily could have been targeting and a blatant missed illegal man downfield on the go ahead TD. It was also an epic collapse by Cal as much as a Miami win. But they won, and that’s more than a bunch of other Top 10 teams can say after today.

Officially concerned about Miami. They are headed in the wrong direction. But with the expanded playoffs, and that weak conference, if they can get back on track a little bit, the CFP is still very much in play for them. Ward needs to get going again. And that defense needs to man up. They've been terrible these past 2 weeks. I have a good friend who is a die hard, so I've taken an interest in them.

I wouldn’t be that concerned. Lot of Top 10 teams looked bad this week. Biggest concern would be Cristobal channeling his inner John Harbaugh and making a horrible decision that costs them a game.

Not to get out ahead of my skis, but hey that’s what we do in CFB…..the two teams at the top of the SEC standings right now are Texas A&M and Texas. Might add some extra salsa on their meeting at the end of the regular season, besides just the fact it will be the first time they’ve played in 13 years.

Shame the Terps don't get Purdue this season, it'd be the best shot they have at an easy conference win. Boilermakers have to be the worst power conference team in the country this year.
Them or Mississippi State

Didn't get a chance to share this yesterday but there is a second "super league" idea out there, separate from the College Sports Tomorrow venture.
This one is somewhat more simplified, and is called Project Rudy. It would consist of just 70 FBS teams, presumably the biggest brands that are currently in the power conferences, so that means most of the current G5 would be on the out. It would get an infusion of $9B in cash from private equity. It would begin in the early 2030's, since that's when nearly all the existing conference's TV contracts are set to expire. Sounds like this one might have a little more support from AD's at some of the bigger schools, though I'd still put the chances of it happening at less than 50-50.

Turns out Cam Rising isn’t the difference maker for Utah after all. The Utes offense struggled even with him healthy and playing. Kudos to Kenny Dillingham for how quickly he’s turned around the program at Arizona State. Their over/under was 4.5 wins this season, and they now sit at 5-1 with a very winnable game against Cincinnati next week to become bowl eligible.

And the Gamecocks rip off a 16 play, 8:40 touchdown drive to start the second half and take the lead. Alabama is reeling.Wild finish to the first half in Tuscaloosa. 12 unanswered points for South Carolina, and they’re only down by two at halftime.
