USC is a very interesting choice for this years homecoming game IMO.
There wasn’t much choice if they wanted to do it in October. The only other home game that month is a Friday night against Northwestern, not really ideal for Homecoming. Other than that there was Villanova on Sept 21 or Rutgers on Nov 16.

Through their first three games, Maryland ranks #1 in the country in turnover margin (+9). They've forced six interceptions and recovered four fumbles, while only turning the ball over once.
However, they've scored just 20 points off of those 10 forced turnovers.
