What will be the starting lineup for the Terps Friday? I'm going with Howard, Faust, Wells, Padgett, and Len.
Aronhalt, and the Freshman (Allen, Mitchell, Cleare, and Layman) coming off the bench.

I assume he has been practicing with the team, learning the offense, etc....?
If so, then there is no reason he doesn't start immediately.
What I wonder is, is he starting too late and maybe doesn't have a grasp of everything to the point where he comes off the bench in the beginning?

I agree with your projected line-up, though I think Howard and Padgett will be seriously pushed by Allen and Mitchell, respectively.

He has been fully practicing with the team all season. There are no limits on whether or not a transfer can practice.

Right...I guess I am more asking has he had enough time to learn everything to immediately start? He has been fully practicing with the team all season. There are no limits on whether or not a transfer can practice.

Agreed 100%!!Woot Woot. Just solidifies my belief that MD is a tourny team this year. So stoked for basketball this year.
Perhaps this will give the team an emotional boost vs. Kentucky.

If he does not start he will get starter minutes. By most accounts I've read he's been the best player on the team in practice.
One thing I do question is how do he and Faust work together. They are pretty similar players, and Wells' presence will almost certainly cut into Faust's playing time.

This move changes that in a big way IMO.

They still have a crappy NC schedule but now, they have a better chance at beating Kentucky and even if they lose, they have a better chance of looking really good against them. With Wells now a full member of the team that can play this season, I would say missing the NCAA tournament would be a major disappointment for the Terrapins.
They still need to clean up in the ACC though.

MD has been a team recently who hasn't wowed you offensively.
This move changes that in a big way IMO.
They have played below the rim for awhile. They are going to be more physically imposing this year than they have for quite some time.

Beyond excited.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Getting a full season with these two on the court at the same time (with Faust and the other pieces) really is huge for the program.
