Kjerstad, Westburg, and Ortiz should all get significant PT in Baltimore next year. McKenna is a fine 4th OF.

I'd be totally fine with Westburg at 2B, Ortiz at SS, and Kjerstad getting ABs between 1B/DH/RF to start the year.

And what are you doing with Mayo and Cowser?

Mayo should and will probably start in AAA. Cowser is a toss up. He didn't show anything in his brief stint.

Neither did Ortiz albeit he only had half the at bats Cowser got.

McKenna's MLB OPS over the past three years (500+ PAs) suggests he's barely rosterable. He's cost-controlled and plays a passable LF-CF with his range / glove. Otherwise, woof.

All this fretting / dismissal of Cowser will get brushed aside once he begins spraying the ball around the OF in Spring Training.

IMO, the O's are going to be rock solid with a starting IF of Gunnar, Jackson, Jordan, & Coby. That's not going to happen as they head north out of ST, but it'll happen.

I hope Cowser works with a hitting coach this winter. The guy really needs to consistently barrel up MLB pitching and I think his swing needs some serious work. He shouldn't have anything handed to him. He needs to earn his way on the roster.
