Following their season-opening win over Mount St. Mary's, Maryland travels down to North Carolina this weekend for a two-game tournament at Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville. Their first game comes against Davidson on Friday night, with a second matchup scheduled for Sunday afternoon versus either Clemson or UAB. The Wildcats also won their first game of the season, 86-63 over Washington & Lee on Monday night. Matt McKillop is in his second year as their head coach after taking over for his father, who coached them for 33 seasons.
