Lol. Monken is as bad as Roman

This is frustrating. Absolutely horrid offensive playcalling so far.

Note that Roman wasnt that bad IMO so its not some huge slight but hes flawed. Warner noted last week how Lamar was bailing out the offense. Hes just not gonna be able to do that every week. These playcalls and concepts are mediocre at best Next.

I really hate the plays that are no where near the sticks on 3rd and passing.

Billick used to say those plays are designed to get more yardage. Well, this is what happens when there is a defense opposite you trying not to let you get more yardage.

The one question I have is Ive heard that multiple plays are often sent in and the QB can choose the play at the LOS. Maybe I heard that wrong or its not accurate but it would make me wonder how often Lamar is choosing not to run the ball

Monken bought his own hype after last week. 16 to 5 pass to run ratio. And it's not like the Cardinals are stacking the box. They're actually dropping 8 into coverage more often than not. Hell, on 3rd and 3, they lined up with Whyte over top of Linderbaum, and not another single defensive player within 5 yards of the center. They're begging for us to run the ball and Monken refuses.

Halftime adjustments shouldn't be that difficult. Run the ball into the open front on offense. Make Dobbs beat you on defense.

Solid end to the half and we get the ball to start the 3rd. Very, very rare for any team to play 60 minutes of perfect football but it's time to foot the foot on the gas.
