The time to do that underneath pass was back when it was 2nd and 10 earlier w 21-23 seconds on the clock. Send three guys on post patterns and then hit the crossing guy underneath. He either runs it into the end zone, or he hits the deck and they've got 8 seconds to spike it.

They wasted what was the best defensive effort I've seen out of MD against a top opponent in a very long time....aside from two plays where they inexplicably forgot to cover Marvin Harrison Jr, they were outstanding.
