Dear Mr. Kremer,
If you want a spot in the rotation in the post season today is your last chance to earn it. As of now you are the odd man out.
Sincerely,
Go Kick Some Sox Butt

I am heading back to the ballpark again tonight. I really hope this is the night, as I do not have tickets for any of the weekend games.
Let's Go Orioles.

I think Kremer is going to be one of the long men in the pen for the post season.
I think it will be Bradish, GRod, Means and Gibson. I think FLaherty and Kremer will be the long guys, in case one of the 4 struggles.

Boston appears to be in pack-it-in mode so hopefully even with an iffy pitching matchup we pull this off and win the division.

Sale has a 4.42 ERA on the season, but its 3.47 against everybody except the O's. We've hung 7 on him twice so far this year. I'll settle for only 6 tonight

I'd take 6 but that might not be enough with Kremer going. Hopefully he turns it back around.

6 would have been enough in 13 of his last 14 outings, not the last one though. I'll take it.
Whatever he does, I'll hope for 6 innings to keep the bullpen freshness going. He hasn't done that since August.

You are more charitable than I. I want them to bring the pain - double-digit runs for a triple-digit win number seems right to me.

Odd that Mullins is sitting tonight; he's 3 for 4 ve Sale this year with a homer. Why is it always about the arm that the pitcher throws with?
Mullins played against a LHP last night, but, yeah, maybe Hyde could have switched nights or something.

Mullins seemed to be running less than full speed yesterday. He may need a day.

Sale worries me. He doesn't seem to be what he once was, but he has had flashes. I think if the Orioles can get a lead the crowd will serve as boost. and maybe we can get rolling.

Boston's best reliever.
Chris Martin's excellent season is over. He has a viral infection and is going on the IL.Nick Robertson is up from the WooSox.
Orioles saw Robertson when he was still with the Dodgers on 7/18, his last appearance before he was traded. Gave up a run and four hits in the last 1-2/3 of the game and allowed an inherited runner to score; those were two of the three Oriole runs in a 10-3 loss. His September appearances haven't seemed to be too bad except for last time out on 9/20, when he dropped a stinker against the Rangers in a 15-5 loss. He was Boston's first reliever up in a game where both teams' starters didn't last long. Gave up five runs (four earned) on five hits over two, including two doubles and a home run.

I noticed that too on an out at 1st base. The way he pulled up scared me for a second.
