After beginning conference play with a road victory over Michigan State last weekend, Maryland returns home with a chance to begin the season 5-0 for the first time since 2001. Indiana is currently 2-2 on the year, with wins over Indiana State and Akron, and losses to Ohio State and Louisville. Their victory over the Zips last weekend came in four overtimes. Tom Allen's squad has yet to win a road game in 2023. This game has typically been very competitive since the Terps joined the Big Ten, with Indiana holding a slight 5-4 edge in the series since that time and the largest margin of victory coming in 2014 when Maryland won, 37-15.

 

Maryland enters this game as 14-point favorites, and ESPN gives them a 82.9% chance to win.
