There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I hated the decision. They havent shown any reason to trust going for it there. I get you might not get the ball back but a tie is absolutely better than an L. But beyond that, horrible execution many times over. This is why I said trap game. Not because Ind is any good. I just remembered Week1 and how bad to mediocre the Ravens looked. That team showed up again today
Missed penalty will give Harbaugh the opportunity to blame the refs for the loss rather than try to improve anything.

Back to the drawing board for back to back road division games. All eyes will be on the injury report as Stone and Edwards both went down today; in addition to the MASH unit we already have.

Because Menshew was worse than I thought possible
Defense played well.

Played like losers today at home, got the result that losers deserve.
Really curious what the game looks like if Drake doesn't fumble early.

Obviously they whiffed on their one opportunity to pick up the fumble today.

Trouble is our defense doesn't have any real playmakers in the secondary so not gonna be many turnovers from picks.
Obviously they whiffed on their one opportunity to pick up the fumble today.
Your 2 best playmakers are hurt, unfortunately.
The Ravens clearly struggled today but it's not terribly surprising when you consider who was not suited up today. I thought this would happen last week, to be honest.

Four field goals all over 50 yards. I wonder if that's ever been done before.

No it doesnt come down to turnovers. Our offense is trash
Two things can be true at once.
That Drake TO killed what had been a great showing by offense until then. I know it was early but still. We go from 14-0 to 7-7 and then we never get it back.
But yeah our offense is trash. I guess we should fire this OC and get another scapegoat in here.

Very tough to overcome Humphrey, Williams, Linderbaum, Stanley, Hill, Oweh being out plus losing Edwards and Ojabo during the game.

Its a mediocre product throughout most of the league.Terrible officiating and injuries just ruin the quality of play.

Thats what it was week 1 too. It sucked then and it sucked today
Maybe it was the weather but wasn't a huge fan of all the dink and dunk offense today. Flowers had 8 catches for 48 yards. Likely had one deep catch. Almost every pass attempt was under 10 yards.

Hard to tell what the defense was doing on the back end. Indy may have been playing a lot of deep zone. Monken also likes playing a quick hit offense. Who knows. At the end of the day, Likely dropped the game, and Flowers got tackled on 4th down, and Tucker came up short on a long kick. And their kicker nailed four 50+ yarders. Indy didn't make many mistakes, and the Ravens made all of the mistakes. I mean, who the hell fair catches a punt on a kickoff. Didn't have a guy within 10 yards of him.
When your defense hits a 3 and out to start OT, and your punt returner goes for 31 yards and gives it to you at the 50, and you can't pick up 20 yards, you don't deserve to win.
Indy isn't as bad as some here want to believe they are. They have a really good defense, and they have a good offensive line. Still a bad loss at home.

Most of all being a spectator instead of a coach. When the broadcasters say “you have to remind your quarterback they can’t take a sack there,” it’s because you do. That seemed to be the major turning point.
