Can’t believe they let that get through. That was actually a really bad decision to pass it there with all that traffic, and was a poor pass. This defense needs to dig deep here and shut it down.

They could certainly lose to any of Indiana, Illinois, NW; but they should beat each of them.

Another missed fg from Howes.   Would have liked to have seen him hit that after making his last attempt.   But he leaves the game having missed 2 today.

Mich St is in a bad way. Had to get the win. They’re still a blue blood Big Ten program though. Maybe I shouldn’t be as thrilled as I am, but I am quite happy to go up to East Lansing and control the game, which they absolutely did.

I guess it's a luxury to go on the road to the likes of Michigan State, win 31-9, and be a little frustrated with the execution. But Locksley has repeatedly set the expectation of competing for conference championships now, and so better execution than today will be necessary for that to happen.
