Nonsense. Gunnar and Felix are elite for sure. And probably Holliday.

The list is strange. Marcus Semien maaaaybe bordered on elite for a couple years there, but he's going to be freakin 33 next week and he's locked into Texas's lineup for another 5 years at $124m.

 

That's not a lot to brag about for a guy whose speed is one of his greater assets. 

 

As for the O's? I could see an argument where Gunnar's glove puts him into elite status. Would've liked to see Bradish and G-Rod in the above average group too (which they clearly are). Bautista not being elite is LOL, too.

Bradish is "Solid?"

Have they seen the state of pitching in today's MLB?


Unless Bradish gets serious consideration for Cy Young I think he's always going to be underrated. He doesn't have a killer fastball, his strikeout rate is good but not great, he doesnt really stand out on statcast, and he didnt come up as a highly touted prospect. It's a little silly but it is what it is.
