Everytime it looks like a bad stretch is coming they dig in and come back.  That is impressive.

 

This feels a lot like the 2012-2016 play.  It's not about Talent. Everyone wants certain changes, but you better understand why you're winning because incrementally better performance doesn't mean incrementally better results.

 

You never arrive.  Just the next game.  Find a way.

It had to be a grind this month and it has and they're closing in on locking up another winning month

I think Palmer said it best when describing the Orioles. "Good teams don't best themselves." (The Orioles almost did this yesterday.) He also said that this team learned how to win during their ten game winning streak last season. This is a good ball club. I can't imagine anyone looks foreward to facing them.

That is pretty insane though. Like a Red Sox fan from '03-13?? Who was the team before that. Dude is 50 yrs old. And now the Os for 10 years?? Guess there is hope he moves on to the Rays soon. Moving around the AL East just because.

My guess is he really doesn't root for anyone.  Whoever is paying him at the time.  I never listen to the guy but as much as he's raked over the coals by people, his ratings have to be decent or he would have been off the air a long time ago.
