Urias has not (yet) been placed on the 7-day IL specific for players diagnosed with concussions.  They do initial concussion testing in the clubhouse any time a concussion is suspected, so that must have resulted in a negative diagnosis otherwise he'd have been IL'd then.  

 

I don't know if continued monitoring for concussions is mandated following an initial inspection if a concussion is not the initial diagnosis, I don't think it is but hard to find details.

Glad to see O'Hearn get the start, hope he does well, as the O's need another 1B and thumper.  I like this lineup, get rid of the weak McKenna and Vavra.

The guy I'm keeping an eye on is Heston Kjerstad.  He'll be at AAA before long and maybe the Orioles by the 2nd half.  He had a great spring training and now that he's finally healthy, he has the talent to be an excellent hitter.

Meh, its still early and he's got a track record.

 

A week ago Mullins had a 576 OPS and now he's at 792 five games later.  Santander himself has gone from 491 to 581 over the past two games (3/9, HR, BB).  A good week and he could be right back in range of the overall numbers we'd have expected.

Yeah everyone has a bad week or two sometimes and if it isn’t the first week no one really notices or cares much. He has enough track record to let him be for a little while longer.
