Presumption of innocence is from the state. OBJ isn't in prison right now, so that's intact.

There is no presumption of innocence, or guilt, from public perception. Every one of us is free to make up our minds on anyone's case as soon as it happens. I'm bummed this story exists, but from the only article I've read on it, doesn't sound like it's a very credible accusation. I'd like to find out more.

Yes, a legal term.  That's why I said court of public opinion.  That's why OJ was exonerated and yet 90% of America believes he is guilty.

Your post made it sound like you thought it wrong for people to not have the same innocent until proven guilty mindset and wait to form an opinion until the legal process is complete. I think that's overly restrictive of a guideline, as long as you're open to changing your mind as new information emerges.

Really sounds like the woman making the accusation isn't telling the truth, but of course if anything new comes out I'm open to changing my mind.

No, I understand that.  You don't have to presume someone innocent and put the burden of guilt on those to find him guilty in the court of public opinion.  But too many times once people form an opinion, it rarely changes.  At least that has been my experience.
