As a total cord-cutter, I haven't been able to see the Terps play this year. I went to espn to check the final score and realized this game is streamed on Paramount Plus which I have. I got to see the final minute and half. Nice win for Coach Willard! Now that they have revenge on UWV, get revenge on Alabama next.

Beating Huggins in the tournament when Turgeon couldn't feels pretty encouraging going forward

Don't wanna continue comparing to Turgeon, partly because its not the bar for success I wanna grade against and partly just because I think its mean, but I think this win is against a higher seed than any of Turgeon's tourney wins except for 2021 against #7 UConn.

Also don't wanna compare to Willard's track record, but this win has to feel good for him after getting steamrolled last year in his Seton Hall finale.

Not to beat that dead horse anymore, but Willard sure has checked off a lot of boxes in Year 1 that Turgeon couldn't in 10+ years, several of them with objectively more talented teams.

Competing vs Bama would be nice. This was an encouraging March sign for a change. Just pushing Bama would gona long way vs being beat by 20

I know Bama is good and we can't necessarily expect a win there, but there's a decently large part of me that wants to beat their ass just to wipe that smug grin off Oats' face. Plus the stuff with Brandon Miller hasn't exactly been endearing.

I don’t see why they can’t TBH.

The best version of this team comfortably beat one of the other 1-seeds, I'll trust the ceiling of how they can play against anyone

Just don't play like they did against UCLA, @Mich, or the first half against Tennessee.

Nate Oats said Miller has apparently been nursing a groin injury, which might explain why he went scoreless today. Maybe his teammate was a little too rough on the most recent pat-down.

I feel like Long and Hart are going to have to perform.
Despite the avalanche of picks for WVU above, this is pretty much a pick'em game.
Good call. Hart definitely stepped up. He kept things together when he ran the point when Young was out.
