Jacksonville’s defense hasn’t been very good, particularly their passing defense. I’d enjoy a strong offensive performance.

I'm kind of gunshy with predictions against Jacksonville. I was there during the MNF debacle vs Blaine Gabbert in 2011 and I was in London for the epic beatdown in 2017.

2011 Harbs and company had Joe throw 38 times (and drop back and get sacked several more) while Ray Rice had 8 carries. That was 11 years ago.

This isnt a Flacco led team so you can eliminate a debacle. Certainly could be close. Jack is better than their record indicates.

The good news is that Jax's best weapon is Travis Etienne, and the thing the Ravens do best is stop the run. Trevor Lawrence has also not been the transcendent player they thought they were drafting.

Definitely not a pushover game, however.

Our offense is predicated on running the ball. If Jacksonville can stop the run, we will struggle to score points.

 

JAX is 10th in rush yards, 8th in YPC.

I feel like we're in turn back the clock mode. We need the defense to force some turnovers and get the offense some short fields. 

 

Offensively, if we can get Edwards back, that would be a big boost. I would imagine Stanley will be down this week so we'll need Mekari to step up.

Gonna be a tough game. At least on offense. Lamar dealing with a bit of a hip issue. Stanley out. Robinson, Duv, and Likely all missed days at practice this week. Seems like Gus will be back but who knows how many snaps he will get

Roman is going to need to lean heavily on the running game, with the use of his RB's. Try and get Lamar through the game without taking a lot of hits.
