It's the best liquor.

That's all.

I like mezcal, but some are too smoky and strong flavored for me.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

This is what I was drinking when I started this thread: https://internetwine...=39686836519067

I don't think you'd feel like this is too smoky Sean (but how would I know lol).

Thanks for the video. I will pay more attention to the company/distillery behind my mezcal purchases in the future.

Clearly I'm not with it as I hadn't even heard of this until the thread was made.

I think it's pretty commonly at bars these days. Maybe not chain places or dive bars, but definitely at a bunch of places in the city and pretty prevalent on cocktail menus.

Now that Chartreuse is (nearly) impossible to get, may I suggest a mezcal negroni. I haven't had a gin negroni in years.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

We hung out with the bartender at Verde a few weeks ago after they closed and she gave us a shot of Chartreuse. My wife took it. I asked for a whiskey.

That was generous of her. I've heard some bartenders mention that they had to remove Last Words from their bar programs. There's a big liquor store chain, here in TX. I found one of their stores that actually had chartreuse in stock. I went there, and asked where they had it. The guy said they removed it from the shelf, because restaurant folks were buying out their stock. He went to the back and got me a bottle. He said there were only two left. I chatted him up a bit, and walked out with 2 bottles :D
