Since the game is ugly, just an OT thought. Pete Rose will never enter Cooperstown due to gambling. But it's ok to advertise current game odds from a gambling site during a telecast. Does that seem odd to anyone else?

I think that everytime I see those commercials.

The Orioles did not seem to have the normal life in them tonight, although when you only get one hit, it is easy to look listless.

We've lost 2 in a row and have lost ground to everybody. They have got to turn this offense around quickly. They're running out of time.

At this point, I think it is fair to assume the offense is what it is.  If Mullins, Adley and Santander don't hit, then it is going to be a tough night.

The offense has been challenged all year.  

 

I keep trying to remind myself that they are on pace to shoot past 80 wins, and that at least to me, makes this year a huge success.  Playoffs or no playoffs..

I agree, and as unpopular as this opinion might be, I think the offense being what it is just might support Elias looking ahead to 2023 and beyond vs making a strong push for a WC spot this season.
