Given the returning depth on both lines (and all the Seniors on the Dline), plus Taulia, plus the WR's... you've got to maximize this year (at-least build on last year), regardless of how difficult the schedule is.

Yeah, next season likely won't be a full rebuild but they'll definitely be re-tooling. This is the year you want to see an unexpected upset (or two), because you'll be replacing a lot in 2023.

Goodness, with the Orioles excitement I totally forgot MD football started today. Looking forward to seeing how the boys look!

Jaishawn Barham gets the start over Fa'Najae Gotay at the MIKE position.

Can't stand BTN's camerawork. It's always as zoomed in as possible, can never see anything down the field or to the sidelines.

Great crowd today.
The Athletic Department really needs to rethink their approach.
If you can't sell the tickets... you need to find other ways to fill the stadium, build atmosphere, build culture and interest.

Just hope they stay healthy. Gotta be one of the better receiving corps in the country IMO.

Keep that group on the field for the season, with the line in-front of them... should be able to play off each other. Should help the run game too.
What was their ppg in league play last year?
Hemby for 6! Maryland TD!

Won't be the last time we see that from Hemby. Dude has ridiculous speed.

It’s a good point. I mean I live 20 mins from Maryland Stadium, and I’m not there. The season just snook up on me. But had they engaged me, especially having bought tickets to at least one game every year the past several years, I would’ve considered it. Nice September weather. A should be good showing. Labor Day Weekend probably not helping though. Just win, that’ll always help. The Athletic Department really needs to rethink their approach.

They packed the stadium against Iowa last year. There's an appetite there for the big games. Games like this though, you need to string together a few consistent winning seasons before people show up for them.

Nice to have a kicker who can consistently win touchbacks.
