It's hard to overstate just how good this show has been.

There is so much to unpack and speculate about.

I think there’s going to be more than one type of severance procedure. What did Helena Egan’s dad mean when she would sit with him at his “revolving?” He had that same goofy, distant look that Miss Casey (Gemma!) had. Yet he’s on the outside. Oh, and those baby goats? There’s going to be something to them. The man bottle-feeding one of them exclaimed “They’re not ready yet!” —- Who’s not ready? The kids (baby goats)?

Was late watching this, but enjoyed.

I'm glad I started watching last month cause the cliffhanger for season 1 would've been cruel.  This show continues Apple's streak of being interesting, if nothing else.

 

Someone is lying and I don't understand why yet.

Harmony has a vested interest in Lumon. Did you see her shrine? It has a child's hospital ID bracelet. "Charlotte". 

She really wanted Mark to successfully commingle with Gemma. Was that a test for what she needs to do with her own child?

A few years ago I waited for the entire season to drop. It just wasn't possible this time around.

Irving has a story. He's probably military intelligence / special ops given the way he's observing and putting things together. Might've been hired to investigate the innies, or perhaps to infiltrate Lumon itself. The dead seal is a message to Irving, IMO. 

 

Harmony Cobal is a story too - she had a child, or there's a hospital patient ID bracelet in her Lumon shrine named, 'Charlotte'. She seems to have a vested interest in Gemma and Mark reconnecting / recognizing one another as innies.

In S2:E5 The Lumon employee (who was walking a medical cart to the medical supply loan closet) was humming “The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald. One of the final lyrics in that song is - 

 

Superior, they said, never gives up her dead

When the gales of November come early

 

As you perhaps know, this is about when a boat sinks in Lake Superior, the extremely cold water causes bodies to not decompose, so no gasses occur and the bodies sink. Cold Harbor is where they are storing the dead bodies to bring back to life.

I'm pretty curious how much Dylan, Irving and Petey are/were important to what they're doing, the last episode made it sound like Cold Harbor is exclusively Mark's thing where I'm wondering what exactly the others are working with their little number sorting exercises

My guess, given that the ultimate goal is to reanimate / bring back to life the luminaries of Lumon's past, then it makes sense to think of these projects as predecessors and successors to said goal. 

Also, the racist black-face paintings Milichick had to suffer gracefully as a gift from Lumon to celebrate his promotion earlier this season? 

 

The acting is top notch (despite the big words Milichick uses).
