Maryland has lost its last three straight games, and will host Iowa on Thursday night for a chance to end that streak. The Hawkeyes currently hold a record of 15-7 (5-6), and won their last game against Minnesota on Sunday. Their worst losses of the season have come to Penn State and Rutgers, and their best wins have come over Indiana and Utah State.
In true Fran McCaffery fashion, Iowa has one of the best offenses in the country coupled with a rather lackluster defense. Senior guard Jordan Bohannon made waves when he announced he'd be returning for this season, but he's averaging just 10 points per game and has only made 35% of his shots. The Hawkeyes are led instead by sophomore forward Keegan Murray, who is averaging 22 points and 9 rebounds per game while shooting at a 55% clip from the field and 35% from beyond the arc. He's had six double-doubles so far this season, including in their last game.
