A few notes:
-Both Chicago and Minnesota would be ranked higher were it not for pre-season injuries (Rose,Love, Rubio)
- Home Court advantage will be huge in the Finals. I think LA has the best regular season record and thus will have home court in the Finals which will make the difference.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Randy Wittman (heh, why not?)
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Bradley Beal
MVP: LeBron, of course

Has a coach ever won COY from a team that didn't make the playoffs?

I forget the year, but Doc Rivers did it in his rookie season as a coach with Orlando. They had basically started a rebuild and he took a team of nobodies and got them within a game or two of the playoffs.
