After a second half collapse against Rutgers that culminated in their fourth conference loss on Saturday afternoon, Maryland travels to Ann Arbor on Tuesday night to face Michigan. The Wolverines were ranked as high as #4 less than two months ago, but have fallen off a cliff and currently sit at 7-7 (1-3). They've lost four of their last five games, and recent issues with COVID-19 cancelled two games.

Both Hunter Dickinson and Brandon Johns, Jr. missed their last game against Illinois due to lingering effects from the virus, and their status is still up in the air for this matchup. While Johns, Jr. is a rotational player averaging 17 minutes and 5 points per game, Dickinson is the clear leader for this team, leading them in points, rebounds, and blocks per game.

Part of the issue at this point is that the players (and Manning) have no idea where they are going to be next year. Hard to buy in. Might play for each other...but at 1-5 in conference you know the writing is on the wall.
