Nance is back on the court though, definitely not 100%.

Fatts hits both free throws to put MD up 5 with 20 seconds left.

Maryland wins, 94-87 in double overtime.
They'll return home to face Rutgers on Saturday afternoon.

What the hell was that? Hard to get excited after what was nearly one of the most disgraceful losses in program history. Donte Scott should have to hitchhike back to College Park.

No long scoring droughts down the stretch, just really bad decisions and sloppiness.
Happy for them to pull this out and get their first conference win. With Rutgers next up at home, followed by Penn State, this is their opportunity to climb back into it a little bit. Big difference between 1-4 and 0-5. Although, I think ultimately they’re done. I just want something to root for.
Ayala with 26
Fatts with 22
Hart with 18
Scott with 17 but a terrible sequence late which fouled him out and ultimately brought the game to OT in the first place
Wahab still just nothing, Nance abused him all night, he’s really bad.

Happy to finally get a win even if it took until damn near midnight. Also this will allow us to move on from Donta's worst minute as a Terp rather than be angry at him about it for a while.
Hart is the big story recently, IMO. He's gone from a passable starter to a valuable player. Still surprised every time he makes a jumper with his weird release, but it works for him, and he's now using his size to score over smaller defenders inside. Of the top-6 guys preseason, he was #6, but he's been by far the most improved over expectations on the roster.
Still think the team is less than the sum of their parts. Just can't seem to get everyone on the same page. Guards struggled early while bigs were playing better. Now that the 4 guards are all playing pretty well, the bigs have disappeared and can't cover without fouling. With very few exceptions still haven't gotten any contributions from guys beyond the 6th man. Green was great against Wisconsin but nothing otherwise and Martinez hasn't even had that one nice game to flash.

I said, earlier in the thread, I could not recall Martinez making a shot. He even missed a dunk last night. Green at least hit 2 shots last night and battled defensively. Wahab did nothing until he had a few nice plays in OT.
Reese provided nothing last night, on both sides of the court.
