Let me guess. An O rebound
Bad guess. He missed on purpose and Maryland got off a half court shot.

No, Ayala heaved it right around half court, missed everything.
Let me guess. An O rebound

The 0-4 start is terrible, but the Terps are competitive in these games, so maybe there will still be some fun to be had as the season progresses. They need to be determined to come out of the blocks fast and not fall far behind like they seem to do every game.
Ayala is probably their best player and he was MIA the first half and terrific the second half. That can not continue.
Their bigs, Wahab and Reese, have had good stretches but they are way too inconsistent and often get pushed around.

Maybe the conference season will follow the script from each game. Terrible start to fall way behind early, furious comeback over the middle half to pull ahead, then get outplayed and lose it late.

When do we start hearing rumors about the next guy. I understand its the middle of the season but I would hope there would be coals in the fire before too long. If we are approaching the end of the tourny and there are no rumors that cant bode well.

A few of the guys we want are legit contenders this year, can’t imagine they’d want the distraction right yet. I doubt we’ll hear much of anything until late March, early April.

I wasn't expecting anything before late March. Maybe I just haven't followed closely enough in recent years, but my perception is that college basketball coaching changes don't happen with the same crazy hectic scheduling as college football coaching changes.

I think anyone willing to publicly express interest right now, may be someone ready to get out of bad situation or in the very least be ready to do what Turgeon did.
Patience is key here, IMO.
