That’s the second blown coverage by Nick Cross that’s ended up in a touchdown for Penn State. He was responsible for a few of Ohio State’s scores last month as well.
Maybe that one was on the linebacker, idk

After looking back again, one of the inside linebackers has to fill the deep middle when you’re in Cover 2 zone. They didn’t, and the corner route by the TE cleared the way for Dotson’s touchdown.

Good work by the defense to force a 3 and out from Penn State.
And they shank it! Great field position for Maryland to start this drive.

Terps do nothing with it, and punt again.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I'm trying to be more constructive rather than piling on, but Tagovailoa really needs to do something about his body-language on the field. It seems after a play that goes poorly the cameras show him and he has the same pose every time....hands on his helmet with an expression on his face like the world is coming to an end. It certainly isn't helping him and I can't imagine it's having a positive effect on his teammates, who look to him as a leader in addition to being the most important player on the field.

Now for the non-QB feedback. I suppose we should be thankful that normally in these games they make enough stupid mistakes to ensure they get blown out. Today they only made enough stupid mistakes to ensure they lose a game that was close until late (bad snap in the red zone, forgetting to cover Dotson in an obvious passing situation, Duncan jumping offsides).
So, I guess this is progress?
