Hey all, welcome back to the 2021 College Football Pick 'Em pool! We had great fun last year playing this despite covid and now with the pandemic *mostly* behind us, we are firing it back up! One big change this year, in order to try to limit the ties, is that each week you will pick ONE game as your "key" game -- this will be worth 2 points instead of 1. Please join up and pay (see the rules) if interested, and feel free to invite whoever!

RULES

Pool Rules:

**ENTRY FEE OF $50 IS DUE UPON SIGNING UP FOR THE POOL**
PAYPAL: [email protected]
venmo: @bmcguire33

POOL FORMAT
This is a Key Pick Pick'em pool. In addition to picking all the games each week, you designate 1 games as your Key Picks. For each Key Pick that you get right, you will get 1 point for the win, plus 1 bonus points. A regular (non-Key) pick is worth 1 point. In the event of a tie, you get 1/2 the points.

POOL SCHEDULE
The pool picksheet will be set each week by the pool manager (BOPPER THE UGLY) and will include 10 college games per week. This pool lasts through week 13 of the college football season (11/27/21)

POINTSPREADS
This pool uses point spreads and your win-loss record is 'Against the Spread'. The team you pick must cover the spread for you to get credit for a win.

AUTO PICKS
If you forget to enter your own picks the website will automatically assign picks for you if you have your Autopick Option set up. Go to POOLS>My Pools to set up your own autopick option.

WEEKLY STANDINGS
The Weekly Standings in this pool are based on 'Points'. The person with the most points is ranked highest.

If there is a tie after 'Points', the first tiebreaker is 'Tie Game Points'. The person who most closely picks the total combined score by both teams in the designated tiebreaker game is ranked highest. Going over or under does not matter. Typical tiebreaker games are the bigger games of the week (SEC on CBS, ESPN prime time etc).

If there is a tie after 'Tie Game Points', it will be considered a tie.

SEASON STANDINGS
The Standings in this pool are based on 'Points'. The person with the most points is ranked highest.

If there is a tie after 'Points', it will be considered a tie.

CONFIRMING PICKS
It is your responsibility to confirm that your own picks are accepted by the website. You should see the Congratulations Screen after submitting your picks and you should receive a pick confirmation email. If you are still unsure if your picks were accepted, you should return to the picksheet, not by using your browser's back button, but by clicking on the My Picks link. If your picks were accepted they will be prefilled on the picksheet.

POSTPONED GAMES
If a game is postponed to a later week, all the picks for that game will be deleted by the website. The website will send an email notification to the people who picked that game and their pool managers. Whether they get the email or not, it is the responsibility of the individual pool member to know that the game was postponed and to enter a new pick (if necessary) before the pick deadline passes.

DISPUTES
If there is ever a discrepancy between what the website shows and what the player says he/she entered, the website will be considered correct. If there is ever a discrepancy between what the website shows and a pick confirmation email, the website will be considered correct.

POOL MANAGER
The pool manager's contact information can be found on the website under HELP>Contact Pool Manager

I think we all need Pedro's Pickz this week.

After going 4-26 the last 3 weeks, Pedro's bad luck can't possibly continue. I sense a big week coming.

Make us rich!

The way it’s gone, I’m just grateful for one lucky week where I got my entry fee back, plus change.

This has just been a weird, unpredictable season so far. But for the sport, I think that’s a good thing.

I think it’s great for the sport too.

“Bleacher report betting” is an annoying IG follow, as 99% of the content is gifs and memes. But they announce when someone drops a huge bet ($50k or more) on a game. I would assume someone like that would be a sharp bettor. A lot of those guys are losing a lot of money from what I’ve seen this year. Just this past week someone had $500K on a 3 game parlay including Alabama ML. Not NCAA, but someone else dropped $100K on Broncos -1 yesterday. Ouch.

I'll look at the games/spreads first, but if I don't feel good about at least 50% of the picks this week I just might hit the "random" button and let the chips fall where they may. That's what it's come to.

I’m doing a total fade. I am picking each game and then doing the opposite of my pick. Watch me go 10-0

That’ll be the week you go 0-10. Come to think of it, you should actually have a chunk of the pool set aside for anyone who goes 0-10. Take’s a special kind of skill to suck that badly.

I finally won a week!

Is Dissolve44 anyone here? Guy is 63-37 on the season. That’s insane and hope they are actually betting accordingly.

Money sent.  Congrats

BSL has done well this year.  Randall Steve and Mike have all won a week.

As for Dissolve, he's one of the few people in the pool that I do not know.  He DM'd me on twitter and wanted into the pool...so maybe he's a sharp.  Not sure a sharp would wanna waste their time in my dumb pool but who knows.

63-37 is insane though, sharp or not.

RUNNING IT BACK:

Those are you that were in this last year should have received an email from the site asking you to rejoin.

If you are new and want to join here is the link:

https://www.officefo...9&p=2&pwd=terps

It's the most fun you can have for $50 throughout the CFB season, trust me!

We are exactly one month away from week 1 of college football and the pool.

Still plenty of time to register if you're interested.

Link above.

Thanks.
