When I wrote my piece on how loaded Double-A Bowie is with Rutschman, Rodriguez and Hall, multiple people I spoke to went out of their way to mention how impressive Kevin Smith was at the same level. Now, the left-hander is headed to Norfolk.
Smith and others on the move.

Hasn’t been the same since he hit a batter in the head last year On July 10th. 2.02 ERA to that point, 7.02 after.

Many moons ago (MANY MOONS), I used to worry about hitting guys...
...then I told myself, "if they don't get out of the way, that's their fault.".

Speaking as a guy that got drilled in the face, also many moons ago, I strongly disagree.

Was just never the same after hitting a guy in the head halfway through the 2021 season. Yips got him.
It can do it to the batter and the pitcher.
