Earlier some of my gallows humor kicked in and I said to my wife, "All right, the second number on my tombstone goes up by one again."

Oh, indeed; anyone who would think there would be a wholesale change that way by flipping the calendar is astoundingly naive. It's a process, a gradual one at that.
