Did Franklin and Locksley work together at MD.
Yes, under Fridge, I believe

Yes, during each of their first stints there.

That kinda sucked. I wanted those SOBs to walk off the field completely demoralized and with no hope.

Terps leaving Happy Valley with the 35-19 win. Huge.

Missed it for a soccer game so just now catching up.
Wow...I don't get shocked by sporting events very often anymore, but this one did it.
I still don't know how the heck this team looked so inept against NW, but tons of credit to the coaches and players for turning it these past few weeks.
And Franklin is such an arrogant punk going for it on the 4th and goal early in the game. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

When even Matt Millen says you made a bad call (and he said it before they ran the play), you know you have really sunk low.

I am SHOCKED at how well our defense played.

You know for people who still aren't on-board with leaving the ACC, I think this win is probably more satisfying than beating NC State

I know fans and the TV types tend to overestimate the impact the result one game can have on recruiting, and most of the big battles for the 2021 class are decided. But the Terps sure didn't hurt themselves in that regard today.

It's not quite Wake Forest territory...but yeah, NC State, I agree.

Huge for recruiting.
Huge for pride after being embarrassed multiple times (last year silly).
Huge because of Franklin.
Just wanted to see MD be competitive today.
To see them control the game was awesome.

A little historical perspective on this game.
Terps closed at +27.5 by kickoff. They were the 3rd biggest dog to win outright in a Big Ten game in the past 40 years (Northwestern +32 vs Minnesota in 1982, Illinois +30.5 vs Wisconsin last year).
Terps are the only team to win outright in consecutive games as at least an 18 point dog since Division I split into 1-A and 1-AA in 1978.

I still think it was more enjoyable beating Philip Rivers than James Franklin. Both occurrences are splendid. You know for people who still aren't on-board with leaving the ACC, I think this win is probably more satisfying than beating NC State
Also I don't think football is why anyone was disappointed with leaving the ACC.
