Ep 3 definitely makes it feel like the show is evolving more into a bridge between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens versus just a self-contained story in between those two.
Welp, so much for that. Season 3 ended up being pretty self-contained after all, unless they were simply laying the groundwork for Season 4 to venture into the bigger Star Wars universe.

If they were going to destroy the dark sabre I think it would have made more of an impact if Bo was the one who to have destroyed it on her own rather than to just have Mof crumple it up like that.

Having said that, I'm all in on Mech Grogu!

He is by far the most interesting character going forward, maybe the only one I'm really interested in anymore. On one hand Djarin seems to have him on the path to becoming a Mandalorian. On the other, he clearly is gaining a jedi-like ability to wield the force. The potential is there for him to become a very powerful figure. Though it's interesting we never heard any reference to him in the final SW trilogy. It would seem pretty lame if the rest of his story is as Djarin's sidekick bounty hunter in the outer rim.

More like The Mehdalorian... Enjoyable low stakes viewing but not must see tv anymore.

I enjoyed this season.
But I think they would've been better off telling that story without Grogu and leaving him with Luke. You can't convince me they didn't change their story to sell more merch.
Cowards. Could've done a Luke show with Sebastian Stan.
